Steve was in a serious car accident that put him on life support. He is a skilled craftsman who is known for how much he loves and works on his craft. Rae Pellegrino, his wife, was by his side the whole time he was sick and holding out hope that he would get better. Even though his family and friends were always there for him, Steve eventually died from his injuries.
Before he died, Steve made a name for himself as a master knife maker who made knives that collectors and chefs alike loved. People who knew him will always remember how kind and talented he was. “What an amazing guy Steve is,” said Nicholas Blatt, a close friend who shared his admiration. He gave “our” first Pellegrino knife to my wife as a gift. I love every piece of his that we have. Amazing skills, kind, and a good person.
