Alpine, Utah – Bradford Brown, the CEO and founder of ATL Technology, died in a devastating helicopter crash at Ririe Reservoir in Idaho on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
According to local reports, Brown was piloting a Bell 505 Jet Ranger X helicopter that took off from Rexburg-Madison County Airport at 4:15 p.m. Tragically, the aircraft crashed into the frozen reservoir around 25 minutes later, at 4:40 p.m. Authorities, including the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), continue to investigate the crash’s cause.
The passenger, Steve Houghton, survived the crash and is currently receiving medical care. His condition is unknown, but sources confirm that he was able to escape the wreckage.

In 1993, he founded ATL Technology, which grew into a global medical device manufacturing company with partnerships with nine of the world’s top ten manufacturers.
